Barrett Announces Retirement

The Walkerton Capitals Jr. C. Hockey Club wish to congratulate our General Manager, Steve Barrett on his retirement from junior hockey after over 20 years.
Steve has been an instrumental part of Junior hockey in Walkerton for almost 20 years providing immense contributions to the team and the sport of hockey locally. He worked hard to build a team of professionals who shared his vision for excellence both on and off ice, and provided necessary guidance throughout our transition to the Walkerton Capitals this past season. These traits led to numerous accomplishments, successes, and friendships during his tenure.
Our President, James Lang, will assume the role of “Director of Hockey Operations” and looks to hire a new General Manager in the near future.
The Executive wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to Steve for all his services as General Manager. We would like to wish him well in his future endeavours.
